About Daan

Daan van der Linden. An inspired barber with passion for his craft. This craze goes hand in hand with an instinct for entrepreneurship.

I love the daily interaction with different people combined with a professional approach. Before the day begins at 18 barbers, I do my workout to make sure I’m always fit to give my best. Talk to me about snowboarding or the latest men’s trends and you’ll get me me going.

About Valentijn

I am Valentijn Vroegop, a passionate barber from Boskoop. When I was 14 years old my aunt said: is cutting hair not for you? After I was allowed to shave a few friends bald, my passion for the profession was born. In 2021 I passed the Dutch Hairdressing Academy. Besides barbering I can be found in the gym or on the football field. I also like to have a beer on the weekend with my friends and visit a festival. I really enjoy working in Leiden – a bit more peaceful than in quiet Boskoop. Together with Daan we make it cozy and ensure that you leave the door satisfied with a nice haircut. About Jimmy

I’m Jimmy, an easy going, relaxed lad from Manchester. Having travelled and lived in numerous countries, I’m now proud to call the Netherlands my forever home!

I don’t see Barbering as a job, it’s my passion. I love meeting new people, having  good conversations and laughs all while giving hair cuts that leave you feeling confident and good about yourself. I like clients to become friends and look  forward to our monthly catch ups.

In my free time you will find me playing sports or drinking beer watching sports. Oh, and sometimes I have to spend time with the mrs.

About Thomas

Hello, I’m Thomas, 17 years old and I work as a junior barber at 18 Barbers. I am training to become a barber, so working and learning mean the same thing. I do this with great pleasure. My passion for this profession started when I got a part-time job at 18 Barbers. There I saw the motivation of my colleagues, and that inspired me.

I also really enjoy being in contact with people. In addition to downsizing, I can often be found on the football field, where I play in a team of friends. I also like to have a drink with friends at the weekend. It is always fun in the business with my colleagues. We have a lot of fun together, but we also work hard. I hope to see you in the shop soon!
